Josh's trip to Okinawa

The overlook of the island. Josh had a great time on his mission, sure does look like they had him hard at work, right?! LOL:)

Josh still in Okinawa taking cool pictures.
Beautiful isn't it? Wish I could have went with him to enjoy it all. But all I got were these pictures instead! HAHAHA
Another breath taking picture! makes you want to be laying on the beach soaking up the sun!
Josh took some amazing pictures of the cost line as they were flying around on a mission in Okinawa.

Josh's trip to Iwakuni

This was an actual tricylce and metal helmet that belonged to a 3 year old who was riding in front of his house when the A-bomb went off, burning him alive and killing him. His father felt he was to young to die so he buried the son, his bike and helmet in the backyard, thinking this way his son could still play with his tricylce. In the summer of 1985 ( 40 years later) His father dug his sons remains up to be buried at a family grave. Upon doing this the father donated the bike and the helmet to the Peace Memorial Museum.

Here is the hall again just from a different angle.

At 8:15 am, August 6, 1945, and American B29 bomber dropped an Atomic bomb, the first atomic bombing in human history. The bomb exloded approximately 600 meters about the building and 160 meters away from here causing major damage. Due to the bomb detinating almost directly above the building some walls remain still standing. This is Hiroshima. The building is call the Hiroshima Perectural Industrial Promotion Hall in which everyone in the hall at the time of the explosion died.
Josh's aircraft after landing in Iwakuni! He sure does love to fly!

Easter 2008

This is the chapel we go to on Sundays for church. It is so beautiful on the inside. This picture looked really nice at night with the church all lit up.

Our first Easter together. We had a picnic dinner in the back of our car overlooking some of Japan. It was great! I didn't ever think I would cook our first Easter dinner from boxed foods! haha:) Something to always remember though.
